Andrew Dagger and fiancée, Aimee Parr began the acquisition of Tauranga Kitchens (formerly Graham Strange Cabinetmakers) in July 2022. Eager and excited to really push the company to its full potential, Andrew and Aimee decided “ADAPT Kitchens” was better suited for the business. ADAPT encompassing "Andrew Dagger - Aimee Parr - Together" a rebrand showcasing a modern, enthusiastic and more personable flare.
With 20 years experience including stints in Management for a large Kitchen Manufacturing company in the region, Andrew’s desire has been to start his own business. Aimee discovered the advertisement and so the idea grew legs, it was a no brainer to run with it.
With a young family of three boys in tow, Andrew and Aimee, no strangers to hard work, are extremely driven and keen to further establish the company into a friendly, welcoming environment. Transparency, integrity and creativity are at the forefront of our values at Adapt and we believe these are integral in creating a strong, trusting relationship with not only our clients but our community. Managing Director
Andrew Dagger
A qualified cabinetmaker and joiner by trade with extensive CAD and factory management experience, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge to the Kitchen Manufacturing industry. Andrew will be your friendly customer liaison, following up enquiries and meeting with you to discuss your kitchen needs. Andrew will work through the design and CAD process with you before following the project through the factory and into your home.

Jason Brown
With 23 years in the trade, Jason is a fully qualified and knowledgeable cabinetmaker who has recently joined the Adapt team! If you quiz Jason on what his favourite aspect of the job is, his response is: "the joy you see on people's faces when they see their new kitchen". When not expertly crafting in the factory, Jason in out on the track, racing his cars! What a great addition to the Adapt team.

Aimee Parr
Although currently working as a Geologist of 9 years, Aimee has a keen interest in web design, database management and anything that involves data manipulation or review. Aimee is the face behind the ADAPT Kitchens website and occasionally the social media platforms, as well as supporting Andrew with the behind the scenes running of the business.

Andy Collins
43 years in the trade, wow! Andy is a fully qualified and knowledgeable cabinetmaker, he is an exceptional new addition to the Adapt team. Very skilled in the trade, Andy's favourite place to be is crafting your dream kitchen in the factory. Custom, bespoke, beautiful kitchens are where Andy excels, crafting your cabinetry from scratch. When Andy isn't in the factory he enjoys being out in the fresh air on his road bike, cycling around the Bay. Welcome to the team Andy!

Nikita Chatfield
Nikita has a wealth of knowledge and great experience in the design industry, specifically kitchens and cabinetry. She holds a Bachelor of Design majoring in Spatial Design with a minor in Photography. An eye for detail and creativity to boot, Nikita is eager and excited to work alongside you every step of the way! With 14 years in the trade, Nick is a fully qualified and knowledgeable cabinetmaker! When Nick isn't expertly creating your dream projects in the factory you will find him site measuring or installing custom cabinetry into your home. Nick will be an invaluable team member and we are excited to have him on board.

Melissa Reynolds
Our friendly and welcoming face of the office and showroom, Melissa is the glue that holds the administration side of ADAPT Kitchens together. With years of experience working for Tauranga Kitchens and Graham Strange Cabinetmakers, Melissa is second to none when it comes to making sure you are well looked after as an ADAPT customer.

Aidan Frew
Aidan has been in the cabinetmaking trade for many years and is very skilled in his trade. Aidan has a talent for turning anything from wood into a work of art from barn doors, wooden benchtops to his personal favourite - kayak paddles. The team in the factory with their years of expertise will have your cabinetry projects looking exceptional.
